There are invisible pits on the upper surface of vellum labels. Due to these dimples, the ground part of the label is rough. This is one of the differences between vellum labels and glossy labels. Vellum labels have more matt structure than glossy labels and are more compatible with ribbon printing since they are matt labels. Ribbon printing is clearer with them. Normally, they are produced with yellow pergamine. Their area of use is quite wide.
